TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
After our CEO and technician, Josh diagnoses the problem with your fireplace, we will provide you with an estimate of the cost for replacement parts and labor within 72 hours of the initial visit. Please note that a special order may be necessary for certain older or unique fireplace parts, and it can take 7 to 120 days and beyond to deliver the required parts.
If you choose not to proceed with the repair, we will charge you a diagnostic fee of $75.99 plus tax. Our technician, Josh, will then reassemble your fireplace. Please note that if you decide to complete the repair later, you must pay the regular service fee of $199.99, plus the cost of any necessary parts and tax.

It can take 30 minutes to 1 hour to troubleshoot your fireplace.
Initial Gas Fireplace Service
Our initial gas fireplace service includes cleaning and diagnostics, which involves the cleaning and adjusting of mechanical parts of your fireplace. In most cases, this will fix any issues. However, if new parts are required, they will be charged separately. Installation is included in the prices listed below. If you have multiple fireplaces at the exact location, additional fireplaces can be serviced for just $99.99 each.

Clean the fireplace glass and inspect the gasket integrity.

Light It Up Fireplace Service and Repair, LLC is not responsible for soot damage caused by i) the customer’s modification of or placement of fireplace logs that are not consistent with the manufacturer’s instructions or specifications and ii) blockage or soot build-up in the venting or chimney.
ESTIMATED JOB TIME
It takes between 1 and 1 1/2 hours to service one (1) fireplace, depending on the amount of repairs and build-up to be removed. Additional fireplaces will require more time.
Return Visit for Gas Fireplace
Our return visit is a trip fee for service calls requested outside our 30-day warranty period. We are committed to ensuring our service meets your expectations during this warranty period. If you encounter any issues within this period, we'll be there to address them. However, if service is requested outside of this period but made within three months of our initial service, a trip fee of $99.99 will be charged. If new parts are required, they will be charged separately. It is important to note that the National Fireplace Institute recommends having your fireplace serviced annually for the best results.

After our technician diagnoses the problem with your grill, we will provide you with the upfront cost of parts and labor required to find and install the necessary parts. Some older or unique grill parts may require a special order. In such cases, delivery can take anywhere from 7 days or longer. Rest assured; we will keep you informed about the progress of your order and provide you with updates along the way.

BBQ Grill Cleaning
GRILL CLEANING INCLUDES:
We specialize in cleaning your grill thoroughly by eliminating flammable grease build-up, soot, and grime from your grill’s different parts, such as grates, warming racks, flavor bars, drip pan, and heat plates inside and outside. We go the extra mile by cleaning the exterior stainless steel surfaces where applicable. Our team takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and a spirit of excellence that is second to none in Raleigh, NC, and surrounding areas.

ESTIMATED JOB TIME
It takes between 1 and 2 hours to clean a BBQ grill, depending on the make, number of burners, and amount of grease/grime build-up to remove.
PRICING - Grill Cleanings are $189
The cost and scope of a grill’s cleaning vary depending on its size, make, and grease/grime buildup severity. An on-site technician will evaluate the job. Any job outside the Raleigh/Durham service area will be priced individually with the client.
NOTE: Technicians may charge extra if the grill is excessively dirty and requires additional cleaning time beyond industry standards. This will be communicated to all parties.

Booking Policies & Procedures

We currently do not offer wood-burning fireplace services or chimney sweeping.

Payment is due at the time of service unless stated otherwise.

To ensure the technician's safety, please ensure the fireplace/stove, grill, or appliance is turned off at least two hours before arrival and is cool to the touch. The technician cannot service your unit if it is hot. (Note: The pilot light may remain on.)

Our technicians have a two-hour arrival window for your scheduled appointment. This timeslot is an estimate and may be affected by the duration of the previous job. That means your technician could be early or later.

The total labor cost for inspections and services excludes the cost of parts. Although our technicians carry various parts, they may need to order repair parts.

Cancellations made within 24 hours or failure to have the unit ready upon the technician's arrival will result in a full-service fee. The customer must provide a 24-hour cancellation notice to cancel the service. Until we receive notice of cancellation and the cancellation is finalized, service will continue, and the customer is responsible for paying for the service or services. We reserve the right to cancel service if the customer's account remains delinquent for 30 days after being notified that the account has become outstanding.

Customers may cancel service without penalty by providing 24-hour notice before the first scheduled service. Customers who miss their scheduled appointment without canceling or rescheduling will be charged the scheduled service/repair price.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD MY FIREPLACE BE SERVICED AND INSPECTED?
Most manufacturers recommend annual service; some even require it to maintain your factory warranty. Regular maintenance and safety inspections are crucial for owning a gas fireplace.
FIREPLACE RATING PLATES AND DATA CARDS
To find your fireplace's rating plate or data card, you must typically open the bottom louver or remove the safety screen barrier. The rating plate is often a metallic sticker on the fireplace's bottom. Sometimes, it may be attached to a card on a metal cable or chain. The rating plate can be riveted to the back of the stove for freestanding stoves. Below are example photos of rating plates or data plates from different fireplace models. These plates contain important information such as the manufacturer, model, and serial number, which we require for your service call. If you have trouble locating or reading the rating plate, don't worry; most fireplaces have a manufacturer logo on the screen, glass, or surround.a paragraph.
